Welcome to Totoroville!

This is the very first city that I built with SimCity 3000, and I hope you will enjoy it. The city is fully built on, and honestly there is not much room for further expansion. However, it does give you the satisfaction for running a balanced and well developed city, especialy for the newer SimCity players.

You will find that most of the city's utilities are located at the western corner of the map, well away from any residential or commerical districts. There are 6 fusion power plants and 15 or so garbage processing facilities, as Totoroville is earning mega-bucks from power export and garbage import. Even so, Totoroville is a very clean city - everything that generates pollution is located well clear of residential zones, and Totoroville is known for its clean, high tech industries. There is virtually zero water pollution and very low air pollution, with the exception of the airspace above the incinerators of cause! You will find the water treatment plants nicely tucked away among the trees next to the Airport Expressway, these have been recently relocated to make room for a new commerical zone. Also note that the astronomically expensive apartments up the hilltop has their own power supply, consists of about 10 windmills that are isolated from the city's power grid. I built them because the hill was too steep for power lines, and Sims seem to like windmills more than power lines anyway. Finally I suggest you to keep a close watch on all of the city's utilities especially the pumping stations, remember to replace them when needed if you don't want eggs thrown at you!

Enjoy!
